Making your first connection

Ready to connect with someone? Here's how.

Option 1: Scan Their Code

  • Open CoLab and go to the **Scan** tab
  • Point your camera at their QR code
  • Choose which context type(s) to share
  • They'll receive a notification to approve

    • Option 2: Share Your Code

  • Go to your **Profile** tab
  • Show your QR code
  • They scan it with their CoLab app
  • You'll receive a notification to approve

    • Approving Connections

    When someone wants to connect:

  • You'll see their request in your notifications
  • Review their profile
  • Choose what to share back (or decline)

    • After Connecting

    Once connected, you can:

  • View each other's shared information
  • Send messages
  • Update what you share anytime
